Editorial Policy

Sephiria Wiki publishes practical, version-aware guides. This policy explains how the editorial team chooses evidence, separates facts from recommendations, and corrects material errors.

Source Priority

Research starts with official TEAM HORAY and Steam material, then current in-game English text and repeatable observations. Community databases with version labels follow, then clear video evidence. Community posts, comments, and discussions are discovery leads until they can be repeated or supported by independent evidence.

  1. Official developer, publisher, Steam, and press-kit sources.
  2. Current in-game interfaces, prompts, tooltips, and repeatable results.
  3. Versioned community databases and maintained reference projects.
  4. Video that clearly shows the relevant route, action, item, or outcome.
  5. Community posts used as leads, with uncertainty preserved.

Evidence and Recommendation Labels

Guides use labels such as Official, In-game evidence, Video clear, Community-confirmed, Needs retest, and Editorial recommendation. A label describes the support for the nearby claim. It is not a score for the source or creator.

Build Inclusion Rules

A build can be included when readers can understand its Weapon path, core items or interactions, play pattern, version context, and failure conditions. A video, preset, clear result, or traceable community recipe strengthens inclusion, but unsupported claims of a universal “best” build do not.

Experimental setups must be labeled. Exact values are omitted when the reviewed evidence cannot support them. A build can be removed or moved to a historical note after a patch breaks its core interaction.

Tiers Are Editorial, Not Official

Weapon, Costume, and build tiers are scenario-based editorial recommendations. TEAM HORAY does not publish them. A tier should name the patch, difficulty, audience, or decision it helps with. Rankings are revised when evidence changes and are never adjusted for an advertiser, sponsor, creator relationship, or search trend alone.

Versions, Patches, and Outdated Material

Each core guide displays a last-reviewed date and a game or source version. Exact source versions stay attached to database values and video evidence. The team checks official update history for later changes rather than silently treating an older capture as current.

Outdated information may remain when it explains patch history or helps readers identify an old guide, but it must be labeled and separated from current instructions. If a material claim cannot be reverified, it is marked Needs retest, rewritten as uncertainty, or removed.

Conflicting Sources

Current official text and repeatable in-game evidence normally outweigh older guides and isolated reports. When two current sources disagree, the guide states the conflict, checks whether region, language, difficulty, platform, or patch explains it, and avoids a definitive claim until the difference is resolved.

Multiple community reports can justify a Community-confirmed label, but they do not become an official rule. One run, one screenshot, or one comment is not used to claim a fixed spawn rate, cap, or universal outcome.

AI Assistance and Human Review

AI tools may help organize source material, compare versions, detect inconsistencies, or improve draft clarity. AI output is never a primary source and is not published as evidence. The Sephiria Wiki Editorial Team reviews the final copy, links, labels, and claims. The site does not invent individual expert identities or credentials.

Corrections and Change History

Send corrections to contact@sephiria.net with the page URL, current version, disputed claim, and strongest source available. The team checks the evidence, updates the guide when warranted, and changes the visible review date when a substantive review occurs. Minor formatting fixes do not create a false new review date.

Material revisions should be summarized in the page’s review record or site change history when available. Rights and attribution corrections are handled separately from gameplay disagreements and may result in immediate temporary removal.

Advertising Independence

Advertising is not active in this release. Future ads, sponsorships, or affiliate relationships will not determine inclusion, rankings, source labels, or correction outcomes. Commercial content must be disclosed and visually distinguishable from editorial guidance.
